Welcome to
Building the Future for Women in STEM
A Global Platform for Connection, Growth and Opportunity. We are building a new digital platform designed to support women working in or aspiring to enter science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Founded by Dr. Shara Cohen, and built on nearly two decades of community-building through Mums in Science, the network is a purpose-driven initiative that offers access to training, career development, and global community support.
Gain access to our growing library of CPD-accredited webinars and on demand training sessions. Topics include leadership, communication, career resilience, CV and interview preparation, technical STEM upskilling, and subject overviews. Members also receive free downloadable books and career planning tools created to support professional growth. All resources are designed to meet the real-world needs of women working across the STEM ecosystem.
As a Founding Member, you will have a direct voice in how the platform evolves. Your insight helps shape new tools, features, and content as we develop the next stage of the Network, including the Mentorship, Collaboration, Recruitment, and Learning Hubs.
Join a supportive international community of women in STEM. Build relationships, find collaborators, share knowledge, and connect with others navigating similar challenges and opportunities. Founding Members are recognised publicly for their role in helping to build a more inclusive global network.
The Women in STEM Network is open to all women working across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, including those in academic, industry, teaching, or interdisciplinary roles.
This includes:
Early-career professionals seeking guidance and growth
Mid-career professionals ready to lead and upskill
Women re-entering the workforce or transitioning into STEM roles
Senior leaders and mentors looking to support others
Educators, communicators, policymakers, and cross-disciplinary professionals
International members working across regions and cultures
From Kenya to Canada, Australia to Algeria — our Founding Ambassadors and members represent a growing global network of women in STEM, united in shaping the future.
