Working with Women In STEM has been a brilliant experience.

The aim of the network is to support women and they definitely do that.

I'd highly recommend joining to help navigate the world of stem.

The free events were what first attracted me to the Women in STEM Network. I didn’t expect much at first, but the speakers are consistently insightful. The event library now means I can catch up on sessions I missed, which makes the membership even more worthwhile.

Working with the Women in STEM Network (WISN) has been a rewarding experience. I recently delivered a virtual workshop for WISN and it was a positive experience from start to finish. Dr. Shara Cohen and the team were focused on bringing valuable content and experiences to members. They helped me understand who they serve and clarified the needs and wants of their members. During the session, participants were engaged and helped make it a fun and rewarding experience. WISN puts a lot of care and attention to providing impactful resources and support for women in STEM careers to thrive and advance at every level!

I joined the Women in STEM Network initially just to attend a few events. To my surprise, I was later invited to run a Spotlight event myself. It was a wonderful opportunity to share my work and connect with others in the community

I appreciate that the platform is not only about events but also about practical resources. The worksheets and career tools are well designed and encourage you to reflect on your professional goal

I recently used the messaging feature to connect with another member working in a similar field. It’s early days for the platform, but it’s exciting to see a genuine STEM community beginning to form

Presenting to the Women in STEM Network was a genuine highlight. The members brought curiosity and thoughtful questions to our session — the kind of engagement that makes a conversation memorable. This is a community that takes its professional growth seriously, and it showed.

The career worksheets in the members’ area are extremely practical. I recently used the ‘My Reflection Worksheet’ and it helped me think more clearly about the direction I want my career to take.

I originally joined the Women in STEM Network because the events were free and I was curious to see what they were like. I stayed because the discussions are genuinely useful and thoughtful. Having access to the full library of past events is incredibly valuable.

The webinar library alone makes membership worthwhile. Being able to go back and watch recordings of previous sessions means you can learn at your own pace and revisit ideas that are relevant to your career.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the Women in STEM Network is the Spotlight events. Hearing directly from women who have built fascinating careers in STEM is genuinely inspiring.

It's been wonderful to coordinate with Shara and the team - very collaborative and supportive end-to-end. It started with a call to communicate essentials, followed by support on the day and efficient follow-ups, timely blog posts/newsletter entries, and video shared after the talk. It's been an absolute pleasure to be a speaker!
