End User Licence Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: 20th May 2025

Welcome to the Women in STEM Network, operated by Mums in Science Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14418391). This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") governs your access to and use of our platform, content, and services.

By accessing or using the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Who May Use Our Platform

You must be at least 16 years old or the legal age of majority in your country to use the Women in STEM Network. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation or employer, you must have authority to bind that entity to this Agreement.

2. Licence Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the platform and its content for personal or internal business use in accordance with this Agreement.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the platform or its content
• Distribute, license, sublicense, sell, resell, lease, or otherwise exploit any part of the platform commercially (unless through an authorised partnership)
• Access or use the platform to build a competing service

All rights not expressly granted remain with Mums in Science Ltd.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC)

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with our services and promotional efforts.

You must ensure that:

• You own or have the rights to your content
• Your content does not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable laws

We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion.

4. Data Privacy

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

We comply with the UK GDPR and take data protection seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on your rights.

5. Platform Availability and Changes

We strive to ensure the platform is available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue any feature without notice.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate this Agreement or use the platform in a way that could harm others or disrupt our services.

You may terminate your use of the platform at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Business interruption
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for access to our platform in the six months prior to the claim.

8. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
