Fatima is a science educator with a passion for research, education and community development. She is a highly driven and dedicated individual who believes in the power of change through education and innovation. She has an MSc in biochemistry from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, where she was involved in cancer research that focused incorporating traditional medicinal plants in cancer drug development. Fatima hopes to combine scientific advancements with community development for people in need, in South Africa. She is also passionate about drug development, and wishes to be involved in developing accessible and affordable medicines for South Africans. She strives to use her knowledge and skills to make visible and impactful changes for herself and her community.
