We are pleased to invite applications for the role of Chief Accounts Clerk to join our welcoming and inclusive Department, which holds an exceptional international reputation for both teaching and research. The Department manages an annual budget of around £11 million across departmental accounts and research grants. This role will share responsibility for the day to day operational management of the Department's Accounts, Purchasing and Stores function.

The successful candidate will bring strong financial knowledge and experience, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will demonstrate the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
As a valued member of the administrative team, the post holder will provide robust support to colleagues. An AAT qualification (or equivalent) is preferred, as is experience working with the University finance system.

The appointment is offered on a part time basis, 18.25 hours per week.
